20 BOOKS BOARD OF DIRECTOR HONORED BY WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY
LaShawnda Wrice, Development Operations Coordinator for Wayne State University's Office of Development and Alumni Affairs, is being honored. The Inaugural Spirit of Community Awards Ceremony is bestowing on her a Staff Engagement Award for her contributions as a board member for 20 Books, leading their mission to combat illiteracy. Wrice also is active in annual campaigns to raise money and awareness for the disease Lupus. And she also volunteers to other organizations for various causes. She is a treasure to many. Kofi Myler, 20 Books Founder and President, is in attendance to support her as a colleague and friend.
