20 Books Gives Away Free Covid Masks

Detroit Mayor Meets 20 Books, East Davison neighborhood
Patricia Cortner, 20 Books board member (pictured above and centered in a blue shirt) met with Mayor Duggan alongside East Davison Village Community Group and Global Detroit to discuss community development projects in Detroit's East Davison community. 20 Books is currently rehabbing a city-zoned, four-unit apartment complex in this neighborhood as a literacy center with plans to offer transitional housing for single-parent mothers and their dependent children.
20 Books and News Movement teach City of Flint Youth
News Movement is a journalism, education program based in Flint, Michigan. It is also an asset of Brown Impact Media Group (BIMG), an independent publishing agency, also based in Flint, whose mission is to develop media products in underserved communities. BIMG, while taking on this purpose, partnered with 20 Books, to create the News Movement curriculum. 20 Books is proud to work with the city of Flint's youth and looks forward to future projects.
