20 BOOKS, THE DLBA PARTNERS FOR LITERACY
20 Books became a community partner with the Detroit Land Bank Authority to acquire and rehab a city zoned, four-unit apartment complex, pulled from the demolition list. Located in Detroit's East Davison Village and part of the city of Hamtramck, the building plans are to be a 20 Books center of literacy and also transitional housing for single-parent mothers and their dependents.
